Come out tomorrow and celebrate the grand opening of the new Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, AZ, where the public is invited to attend the official ribbon cutting and news conference.
The Pima Country Board of Supervisors, Kino Sports Complex and FC Tucson will host the exciting event, which will open doors for the advancement of youth, amateur and professional soccer as well as other various grass sports in the community. The aim of the 2,360 seat stadium and surrounding fields and facilities is to create an exceptional recreational destination for sports and special events.
“I commend FC Tucson, all the staff at Kino Sports Complex, architect Phil Swaim, Pima County Facilities Management Director Reid Spaulding and his staff, and Canyon Construction for their hard work in creating this new stadium,” Board of Supervisors Chairman Ramón Valadez said in a press release. “The new stadium and fields and FC Tucson’s efforts to bring high quality international and Major League Soccer here will attract tourists and produce substantial economic benefits for Pima County.”
