U.S. head coach B.J. Snow has called up 20 players to attend the training session, which will be vital preparation for the 2013 CONCACAF Women’s U17 Championship held Oct. 30-Nov. 9 in Jamaica. They will go up against England Aug. 25 and Aug. 28.

It’s going to be a serious few months for the U.S. girls, who will be looking to retain USA’s title after defeating Canada 1-0 in the 2012 tournament. This year, they will be competing with Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, El Salvador, Guatemala and two other Caribbean nations that have not yet been determined.
