Utah Valley University announced Wednesday the hiring of Greg Maas- the first ever head coach for their Men’s Soccer team.

Maas has served as the technical director at UYSA since 2001 and is an essential part of the Utah soccer community.  As head coach of UVU’s men’s team, he continues to impact and promote the sport by accelerating the institution even further.

“This is another tremendous milestone in an already exciting time for Wolverine athletics and our forthcoming men’s soccer program,” said Utah valley director of athletics Michael V. Jacobsen in a press release. “Greg Maas is a proven leader with a tremendous passion for his craft. His knowledge of the game is unprecedented and I look forward to seeing this program grow to prominence under his direction.”
