For example, Will Manchester United keep a clean sheet for a fifth successive week? Can Chelsea turn things around three successive defeats? Can Ozil make an assist for the seventh consecutive game? ..And finally will Jamie Vardy equal Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive EPL games?

The only way to find out is to tune into all the EPL action this weekend, but if you can’t wait until then, don’t panic, as GotSoccer is here to give you a little taster with our predictions and previews for Week 13.

A correct result (picking a win, draw or defeat) is worth ONE point. Getting the exact score correct earns THREE points.

Last week I got THREE correct results, including ONE perfect score to give me a combined total of FIVE-Points – my lowest tally this season – However, I’m feeling refreshed after the short international break and have a feeling this could be my best week ever!

This Week’s Predictions

Week 13 My Predictions
Watford v Man Utd 0-0
Chelsea v Norwich 1-0
Everton v Aston Villa 2-0
Newcastle v Leicester 1-2
Southampton v Stoke 2-1
Swansea v Bournemouth 1-1
West Brom v Arsenal 0-1
Man City v Liverpool 2-0
Tottenham v West Ham 2-1
Crystal Palace v Sunderland 2-0

Watford v Manchester United

Watford’s winning streak came to an end with a 2-1 loss away to Leicester City. Before the defeat the Hornets had won two on the trot with good wins against Stoke and West Ham.

Manchester United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over West Brom. The Red Devils had failed to score in their previous two games before the win, but have now kept four clean sheets since losing 3-0 away to Arsenal.

Watford striker Odion Ighalo will be assessed after returning late from international duty with Nigeria. The striker has scored seven Premier League goals this season – only Leicester’s Jamie Vardy has more.

Rooney has come under a lot of criticism - so it will be interesting to see how Man Utd play without him.Getty Images)

Manchester United will be without any recognized srtikers, with Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial both out because of illness and injury respectively.

Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are also out but Matteo Darmian is available after suspension.

Manchester United have won their last nine league and cup meetings against Watford – a run that started back in 1987 – so on paper this should be any easy win for the Red Devils. However, Watford have proved to be resolute opponents so far this season– the Hornets have the fourth best defensive record in the EPL this season, conceding only 13 goals – and with United playing without a recognize striker, I think they will struggle to break down the Hornets.

Prediction: 0-0

Chelsea v Norwich

Chelsea’s struggles continued with a 1-0 loss away to Stoke City. The loss was Chelsea’s third in a row – the first time this has happened under Roman Abramovich’s ownership – leaving them sitting 16th in the table, just three-points above the relegation zone.

Norwich bounced back from their recent struggles with a 1-0 home win over Swansea. Before the win over Swansea the Canaries had lost their last four on the trot and were without a win in their six.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has returned from injury, but the game looks to have come a bit too early for the Belgian.

Norwich winger Nathan Redman has returned from a knee injury, while Captain Russell Martin is available again after a one-match ban, but Matt Jarvis will miss out because of a knee problem.

Norwich have only won one of their last 11 EPL games against Chelsea. But the champions are really struggling, so the Canaries might fancy their chances of springing an upset. Nevertheless, I think this is a ‘must win’ game for Jose Mourinho and I expect his team to deliver it.

Prediction: 1-0

Newcastle v Leicester

Newcastle registered only their second win of the season with a 1-0 victory away to Bournemouth. The Magpies will probably count themselves lucky having only 33% of possession and taking only 2 shots compared to Bournemouth’s 20 shots, but they managed to score the all important goal and may feel like the tide is finally beginning to turn for them.

Leicester’s fine form continued with a 2-1 away over Watford. The win was the Foxes third successive win and their seventh overall this season. Jamie Vardy was once again on the score sheet – making that nine games in a row he has scored in – and the forward is now aiming to score in a record-equaling 10th successive Premier League game – only Ruud van Nistelrooy has managed the feat.

Jamie Vardy missed England’s games midweek with a groin injury and is a doubt, but I would be surprised if he doesn’t feature, as he has a chance of equaling the EPL goals scored in successive games record.

But even if Vardy doesn’t play I fancy Leicester to score and win this game, as they are the only team that have scored in every one of their EPL games this season and have yet to lose an away game.

Prediction: 1-2

West Brom v Arsenal

West Brom dropped to 15th in the EPL after losing 2-0 away to Manchester United. The loss was the Baggies second successive defeat, and there appears to be a pattern to their results at the moment with their last six results LL,WW,LL. So if those patterns are anything to go by they should be in for two more wins.

Arsenal drew 1-1 with neighbors Tottenham last week, but remain joint top of the EPL with Manchester City. The Gunners were second best for long periods of the game, but finished strong and could well have won in the end. Mesut Ozil once again created the goal and now has eight assists in his last six games.

West Brom are without defender Gareth McAuley, who picked up a red card against Manchester United.

Arsenal will assess whether French pair Laurent Koscienly and Oliver Giroud are psychologically ready to play after playing for France during the Paris attacks.

West Brom have only beaten Arsenal once in their last 19 EPL games, and while they have improved under Tony Pulis I think Arsenal will edge this one.

Prediction: 0-1

Man City v Liverpool

Man City drew 0-0 away to Aston Villa but still remain top of the EPL ahead of Arsenal on goal difference. City have now registered two 0-0 in the space of their last three EPL games after a run of 60 matches without a goalless draw.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool honeymoon ended abruptly in their last EPL game with a 1-2 loss at home to Crystal Palace. The Reds were outmuscled and bullied by Palace, who are establishing themselves as Liverpool’s bogey team after inflicting a series of defeats over the Reds during the past three seasons.

Sergio Aguero is fit again and could feature with Wilfred Boney out injured. Fabian Delph and Pablo Zableta are also fit again, but captain Vincent Kompnay, and midfielders David Silva and Samir Nasri are definitely out.

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is set tostep in for the injured Mamadou Sakho, while Jordon Ibe and James Milner are fit despite missing international duty. Jurgen Klopp also has to assess whether or not to include the fit again Daniel Sturridge.

The last six EPL games between these two sides have produced 23 goals (12 for City, 11 for Liverpool), so we should be in for goals. Liverpool have not register a win in their last 6 visits to City in the EPL.

Liverpool have improved a lot under Klopp, but I have a feeling their high pressing style will play into City’s hands, and I wouldn’t be too surprised if former player Raheem Sterling gets in behind the Reds defense and scores.

Prediction: 2-0

Tottenham v West Ham

It seems a week does not pass in the EPL without a London derby taking place and Week 13 is no different with north v east as Tottenham host West ham.

Tottenham played well in their last outing, drawing 1-1 away to Arsenal. The north Londoners remain the only EPL team unbeaten since the opening game – when they lost to Manchester United – and can equal their club record of 12 successive EPL games without a defeat this weekend.

West Ham drew 1-1 at home to Everton last week and are without a win in their last two games, but still remain fifth in the EPL. The Hammers are enjoying their best ever start to an EPL season with 21-points from 12 games.

Tottenham forward Heung-Min returns from a foot injury and could start for the suspended Erik Lamela. But Nabil Bentaleb and Nacer Chadli are out.

West Ham remain without long-term absentees Dmitri Payet and Enner Valencia because of ankle injuries.

But Diafra Sakho and Alex Song could be fit to play, while Michail Antonio is pushing for his first start for the club.

Tottenham have only won once in their last five games against the Hammers in league and cup (D1, L3). However, the north Londoners are in fine form at the moment and with striker Harry Kane scoring five goals in his last three games, Spurs now look to have a real cutting edge again.

Prediction: 2-1
