Arizona Youth Soccer Association is offering numerous coaching classes next month, with registration open now. Check out the details below, and for more information, please visit the AYSA website.


The National “E” license is an 18-hour course, which covers the elementary principles of coaching and prepares interested coaches for the “D” license course.  Key components of the “E” license course include:  Development of the core coaching competencies necessary to effectively teach the 9-12 year old athlete and team & understanding the characteristics and needs of an athlete in the Basic Stage of U.S. Soccer’s Long Term Athlete Development Model.

Cost: $150.00

November 6-8, 2015 – Tucson, AZ

November 20-22, 2015 – Prescott, AZ


The National “D” license is a 36 to 40-hour course designed for the experienced coach who has already earned a National “E” license. The focus of this course is to improve a coach’s ability to positively influence individual players and teams.  The “D” license course is open to all applicants who hold a U.S. Soccer “E” license for a minimum of 6-months and who are 16 years of age.

Cost: $300
