The OCSC committee received a wonderful and generous donation from Utah Youth Soccer Association this month, accepting a $25,000 donation that will help make the Ogden Soccer Complex in Ogden, UT a reality.

On June 17 the OHS Tigers passed the ball on the new turf field. This monumental day was made possible with the incredible support of donors in the “last dollar challenge”, where funds were contributed by the George S. and Dolores Eccles Foundation and UYSA.

“I am extremely excited, and I’m not the only one obviously,” Ogden High School senior Kennidy Howard told the Ogden Standard Examiner in an interview. “I think it is long past due for us to get a field, and I am really grateful. This is going to be a huge benefit for not only the high school, but for everyone.”
