Plymouth, Michigan (April 10, 2015) – The Michigan State Youth Soccer Association will host more than 3,000+ players from 140+ teams as they compete in the US Youth Soccer MSYSA State Cup, which will be played in the fall of 2015. This will be the first of three legs in the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. This fall, MSYSA will host the following age groups: Under 14 Girls through Under 18 Girls.

The US Youth Soccer Association MSYSA State Cup Champions will qualify to compete for a regional title in the US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships hosted in Westfield, Indiana being held June 24 through June 29, 2016. Those who are crowned champions at the US Youth Soccer Regional Championships in the Under 13 through Under 19 brackets earn a place to compete in the 2016 US Youth Soccer National Championships which will be played from July 25 through 31, 2016 in Frisco, Texas!

2014 was an exciting and successful year for Michigan teams with the Under 13 Boys WAZA being crowned champions and the U13 Girls Michigan Hawks being crowned finalist! MSYSA invites you and your team to participate in the 2016 MSYSA Fall State Cup Tournament!

The MSYSA State Cup Tournament is intended to provide teams a high level of competition for teams in the Under 14 through Under 18 age groups. If you or other teams you may be aware of, are interested in participating in the tournament, please make certain you register and pay the team fee for your team(s) before June 29, 2015. The cost per team to register is $500.

The MSYSA State Cup is for current MSYSA league affiliated teams and MSYSA League affiliated members only. The MSYSA State Cup Round of 16 and Quarterfinals will take place on October 3-4, 2015 in Saginaw, Michigan at the STSA Soccer Complex. The Round of 16 will be for the Under 14 and Under 16 age groups provided there are 32 teams or more in those two age groups. The MSYSA State Cup Semifinals and Finals are scheduled to take place on October 16-18, 2015 at the Ultimate Sports Arena in Pontiac, MI.
